Between 1893 and 1906 John Charles Burrow took many photographs both on surface and underground and became one of the most photographed mines in Cornwall.
The account of mine photography is fascinating. One has only to try to take photographs underground to appreciate the skills required.

When we arrived we were greeted by staff and volunteers from the Mine who were friendly and engaging. We were given a information pack which was super useful.
